CHOBHAM KITCHEN

We created this stylish open-plan kitchen and dining area for a home near Chobham in Surrey. The satin matt lacquered handle-less furniture in a combination of ‘Inky Blue’ and ‘Mid-Grey’ gives this luxury fitted kitchen its minimalist and trendy character. There’s a pleasing mix of textures within this room – from the smooth cabinetry contrasted with the ‘Rugged Concrete’ Quartz worktops by Caesarstone, to the herringbone ‘Laurel Oak’ flooring by Moduleo, which we supplied and fitted.

The antique bronze mirrored splashback is a real design feature of this room, adding a warm opulence and another alluring surface. This warmth is picked up in the metallic pendant lights by Buster and Punch located above the generous kitchen island with breakfast bar area. A breakfast cupboard/kitchen pantry with retractable doors is seamlessly integrated into this design – as are the tall fridge and freezer, both by Siemens. Just round the corner from the main kitchen area, an additional Fisher & Paykel stainless steel fridge-freezer surrounded by extra storage provides even more practicality. Opposite this, a wine rack/storage cabinet in the same ‘Inky Blue’ finish, creates a sense of flow from the kitchen/dining area into the lounge. This kitchen also features a Quooker Fusion 3-in-1 tap, as well as an induction hob, two mounted ovens, a combi-microwave oven and warming drawer, all by Miele.
