As practical as it is on-trend, this dark and contemporary shaker kitchen for a home in Fulham incorporates a sociable dining area with banquette seating and an enviable walk-in pantry.
The inky blue-black tones of the kitchen cabinets, painted in ‘Sinner’ by Mylands, are paired with smoked bronze handles by Buster and Punch to give this shaker kitchen a distinctly modern style. Critall-style doors at the rear of the room lead into a country-style walk-in pantry with open shelving and warm wood accents. The upholstered bench seat gives the dining area of this room a simultaneously cosy and stylish feel but also offers practicality with the availability of extra storage beneath. We also arranged for our clients’ existing dining table to be refreshed with the application of a grey tint to the oak, to tie in with the new look of the space.
The Carrara marble-effect worktops reflect the abundance of natural light in this room. On the main worktop, the focus is on the Barazza 4 burner gas hob which is completely flush fitted into the stone surface. The large feature island provides yet more cabinet space as well as an integrated Miele dishwasher, breakfast bar seating and an undermount sink with Quooker tap. A Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer and mounted ovens by Miele are also seamlessly integrated into this kitchen design.
