wIMBLEDON CONTRASTING CONTEMPORARY KITCHEN
In the realm of kitchen design, the convergence of aesthetics and functionality yields creations that transcend the ordinary, turning culinary spaces into works of art. This project in Wimbledon is another great example of where meticulous craftsmanship meets understated luxury, creating a captivating masterpiece… all within the home.
At the heart of this kitchen’s allure lies the exquisite charcoal-stained hand-veneered oak cabinetry. Exuding a sense of depth and sophistication, these cabinets have been crafted with day-to-day living in mind. From elegant space-saving drawers to stunning breakfast cupboards with integrated lighting, the cabinetry offers our clients both timeless style and function.
Featuring matt lacquered cabinets and a beautiful quartz worktop, the kitchen island is certainly a pivotal element in this design. Bridging the gap between a culinary workspace and social hub, this island is a place where experimenting with ingredients and family gatherings seamlessly coexist.
Nevertheless, it’s often the smallest details that make the most profound impact, and the unfinished brass recess handles and bronze eglomise mirrored splashback, to name a few, are a testament to this notion. Contrasting against the cabinetry, these details bring a range of exciting textures and tones to this home, ultimately blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary innovation.
This space also features state-of-the-art appliances, from the Bora induction hob to the Quooker Fusion 3-in-1 tap, this space really does have it all. This project is a testament to the ethos of Brayer Design – a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity, tradition and innovation.
This project was carried out in conjunction with interior designer, Nikki Rees.
