Wimbledon Home Renovation
This contemporary and stylish kitchen was part of a full house renovation project we worked on in collaboration with Deborah Beaumont Interiors of Wimbledon. For our part, we designed and created bespoke fitted furniture for the kitchen, master bedroom, the sitting room and two bedrooms designed especially for the homeowner’s daughters.
The kitchen was given a ‘Warm Grey’ matt-lacquer finish and the handleless cabinets were designed and fitted with a narrow recess with spotlights positioned directly over the worktop for added practicality. Matching cabinetry was created for the window seat built into the front bay allowing for extra storage. We also created a bookcase and AV cabinets in smoked oak to add subtle contrast to this area of the kitchen. In the sitting room, audio visual furniture and display cabinets in dyed grey ash with a matt black stone fire surround provide a focal point for this welcoming and comfortable space. We designed and installed full-length wardrobes in quilted grey maple for the dressing room, as well as a chest of drawers in the master bedroom. For the daughters’ bedrooms, we created custom fitted wardrobes and display cabinets for each. One of these rooms was a loft conversion so we designed furniture to suit the slanted shape of the ceiling to make the best use of the space available. We also created furniture for a study area/reading nook for both of these rooms with window/storage seats and matt-lacquered desks.
